Perhaps you’ve been daydreaming about an island getaway and have been compiling a list of places to visit once Covid19 is over, well, this is certainly the chance. We’re no longer restricted to a socially distanced staycation vacation, but, of course, following health protocols should still be top priority.
This summer season signals a new start—one that inspires new hope and beginnings. We can choose to resume our favourite summer activities, whether that be picnics at the park, hosting intimate barbeques with close friends and families at home, going to the farmer’s market, wine tasting or simply listening to a summer playlist. We’ve got just the capsule that is all-embracing, pretty, colourful and inspiring to accompany you enjoy these wellness-inducing activities! We have started designing our capsules based on season in place of categories now, as we have established over nine different categories to choose from.
This does not mean we will release new collections every season as the fast fashion industry is known for, but more along the lines of designing pieces that are better catered to provide our consumers with utmost comfort during specific seasons. And so, with the entry of the same season in the following years, pieces from existing collections will still be relevant and favourable. Enter: An Ode to Summer collection.
An Ode to Summer: Inspiring New Beginnings
Our newest summer collection is inspired by the Danish island community of the future, Samsø. The island runs on 100% local renewable energy and is a pioneer in the shift from fossil fuels to renewable energy. Our designer has taken a crucial element out of this, which essentially highlights eco-advocacy that significantly resonates with today’s demands.
The concept behind An Ode to Summer, along with its tagline, “Inspiring new beginnings,” is to exhibit the spirit and inspiration of new hope in light of the world’s current transition into a post-pandemic lifestyle. We’re back to completely enjoying summer outdoors, allowing us to fully embrace the colourful delights of the season. Since this collection is inspired by the landscapes of Samsø and its coastal scenery, we wanted to reimagine the environment in the best way possible. That is why we have chosen to go with a conceptual approach and have built a set that perfectly captures the inspiration as well as the collection in combination.
Our designer has translated the eco-advocacy narrative associated with Samsø into the minimalist fashion pieces that resonate with both the practical less-but-better style and forwardness of eco-advocacy.
The five new styles in this collection are the summer tops that come in three or four different colourways—except for one style—, but totaling to five different colourways under the collection. These colourways are inspired by Samsø’s environment—colours that soothe, energise, reassure, and are followed by soft hues that flirt with the beauty of natural fibres that make up the collection.

Lima Embroidered T-Shirt
Boasting the simple but hefty spirit of togetherness, the t-shirt displays an embroidery of the word ‘together’ to speak to our alignment with the people and the planet. It has been consciously designed with the PYRATEX® upcycled fabrics, which utilises 50% solar-powered energy during its mechanical recycling process. It’s available in one colourway, which comes directly from the undyed state of the upcycled fabric. Its rustic look and natural textures connect with one of the themes that this collection embodies, 'Refined Rusticity'. It’s all about simple luxury and attention to craftsmanship as seen on the embroidery.
Metz Women’s Polo Shirt
Your summer outfits can do with a stylised mix and match combining the polo shirt and a pair of shorts.
